Southampton is a safe place to live and visit - and is getting safer every year. The chances of you becoming a victim of violent crime are low and crimes such as mugging or assault are rare and account for only a small part of recorded crime.
Working with you and our partners in the Safe City Partnership, we are tackling anti-social behaviour, reducing crime and helping to foster stronger communities. In these pages you can find out about what we are doing to reduce crime and the fear of crime and how you can keep safe and get involved to help create a Safer Southampton. You can also access our YouTube channel and Facebook groups to stay up-to-date.
